It is a difficult method, involving many hardships and challenges, performed mainly by an experienced and qualified artist, having years and years of training and experience in this particular field.
Because this statue is made from copper, it is normal for it to develop a slightly reddish patina color on the surface as it ages and is perfectly natural.
Ways to Take Proper Care of your Precious & Valuable Copper Statues
– Clean the dust from the copper statue periodically to retain its natural shine and luster
– Use mostly soft cloth or cotton balls while cleaning the statue
– Avoid using any special cleansers or chemical solutions that aren’t meant to be used on copper
– If water gets spilled to it, clean it immediately and make sure no water droplets remain on the surface of the statue
– It is suggested as a good practice to use glass covers or display cases for your copper statues to protect it from dust and other things at all times.
